August 3rd meeting – Bad USB

For the month of August join us for community member Jonathan Simpson (The Hacken) takes us through his journey of creating a custom Bad USB device. Inspired based on the Hak5 Rubber Ducky, he developed his own version using a more affordable and unconventional hardware device with a smaller form factor (Digispark Attiny 85) while still offering a standard USB interface.

Join us as we welcome Jonathan to our presentation. With his enthusiasm and interest in cybersecurity, he will provide unique insights into the exciting world of the possibility and how he tackles intimidating challenges with curiosity and determination.

The meeting will be held in person 6pm August 3rd at the Hughes Library meeting room in downtown Greenville, SC.
